Lewiston Police Blotter for July 30, 2011

The following activity occurred Monday, July 18, to Sunday, 24, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD reported a total of 144 responses during this period.

Monday, July 18

•Route 93 and Ransomville Road, hit-run/foot pursuit. LPD, Niagara County Sheriff's Office and other agencies on location to check area and assist NCSO.

•Whirlpool State Park area, report of woman in the water. LPD and various agencies on location.

•700 block of Center Street, Asian male acting suspicious. Patrol reported all OK.

•Locations on the 5200 block of Walmore Road and the 800 block of Center Street, separate property damage accidents. Statements taken from the drivers; one vehicle parked.

•Lewiston docks area, report of juveniles on the roof of the restrooms. Subjects located and parents contacted.

•2100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, criminal mischief complaint. Statement taken from a 66-year-old female. Report filed.

•Black Nose Spring Road, check area for suspicious activity. Patrol advised of possible auto stripping going on in the area. Area checked with negative results.

Tuesday, July 19

•2100 block of Adams Circle, domestic incident dispute. Patrol spoke with a 41-year-old female who stated her husband, a 41-year-old male, came home intoxicated and they got into a yelling and pushing fight. Report filed. Patrol reported the arrest of the male for harassment. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Paperwork filed.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, attempted burglary. A 29-year-old female reports being awoken to the sound of an individual attempting to enter through a second floor window. Patrol searched area with negative results. Report filed.

•5000 block of Susies Lane, criminal trespass. Statement taken from a female regarding a male in the residence listed as unwanted. Report filed.

•900 block of Center Street, harassment complaint. Call referred to State Police as the incident occurred in Youngstown.

•5900 block of Tuscarora Road, property damage report. Patrol reports 77-year-old male complained that his neighbor cut down some of his tree branches.

•400 block of Chicora Road, suspicious person report. A 41-year-old female reports that she noticed the driver of a vehicle observing her several times.

•100 block of Portage Road, harassment. Statement taken from a 50-year-old male regarding an unknown female. Plate number logged.

•Village locations, 12 open container violations/arrests. Locations included: Center and Seventh streets; Cayuga and South Fourth streets; the 700 block of Center Street; Seneca Street (three violations); unspecified village locations (three violations); and South Eighth and Cayuga streets (two violations). Arrested were: a 28-year-old male; a 49-year-old female; a 44-year-old male; a 26-year-old male; a 54-year-old male; a 49-year-old male; a 23-year-old female; a 25-year-old male; a-25-year-old male; a 21-year-old male; a 25-year-old male; and a 21-year-old male. All issued appearance tickets for Lewiston Town Court. Reports filed.

•4900 block of Black Nose Spring Road, report of a stolen vehicle out of Niagara Falls Police Department. Vehicle located and plate number logged.

•900 block of Mohawk Street, domestic. Patrol spoke with a 35-year-old female regarding a 40-year-old male.

•Indian Hill Road, reckless driver/road rage. Plate number logged. Area checked with negative results. On a later call the male left without incident.

•2900 block of Upper Mountain Road, domestic incident. LPD assisted NCSO on the call.

•Center and First streets, assist. LPD on location with Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. for a male who fell off his his bicycle and hit his head. Minor contusions reported; victim signed off.

•South Seventh Street, DWI. Patrol reported the arrest of a 58-year-old male for driving while intoxicated. Driver arraigned at Lewiston Town Court, bail of $500/$1,000 assigned and driver transferred to custody of NCSO. Report filed.

•4700 block of Creek Road, criminal mischief complaint. Statement taken from a female regarding a male and a report of a dented car hood.

Wednesday, July 20

•Saunders Settlement Road and Buffalo Street, suspicious person. Patrol advised of a male who reportedly became lost riding his bicycle. Subject pointed in the direction of North Tonawanda.

•5800 block of Ward Road, check welfare. Neighbors reported hearing fighting in a residence. Patrol attempted to contact parties. No answer at the door and the residence was dark.

•700 block of Cayuga Street, petit larceny. Statement taken from a female who reports the theft of $60 while at a business. Report filed.

•800 block of Moyer Road, harassment complaint. Patrol listed a 70-year-old male as a victim and reported the arrest of a 61-year-old male suspect. No further details.

•Locations on South Seventh Street and South Fourth Street, open container violations/arrests. Arrests included a 23-year-old male, a 23-year-old male and a 20-year-old male. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Reports filed.

•Seneca Street, public lewdness complaint. Patrol reported the arrest of a 27-year-old male who was observed urinating roadside. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court.

•700 block of Fairchild Place, missing person complaint. Patrol spoke with a 63-year-old female regarding a 34-year-old female. No further details.

Thursday, July 21

•4600 block of Model City Road, domestic incident. Patrol listed a 42-year-old male as a complainant, a 24-year-old female as a suspect and a 24-year-old male as a person involved. All parties reported as intoxicated.

•4000 block of Porter Center Road, burglary. Statement taken from a 65-year-old male regarding copper metal and wiring taken from a residence by an unknown suspect. Report filed.

•800 block of Center Street, hit-run accident at a gas/convenience business. Statement taken from driver of vehicle No. 2 plus a witness. Vehicle No. 1 left the scene. Patrol reports the witness was unable to obtain a plate number and the business surveillance system was not working. Report filed.

•5800 block of Ward Road, neighbor problem. Patrol assisted NCSO.

•1800 block of Langdon Road, domestic. A 43-year-old female was listed as a victim and a 49-year-old male as a suspect. Male party left without incident. Domestic incident report and patrol's report both filed.

•5400 block of Walmore Road, larceny. Patrol reported the suspect as gone on arrival and a tan Blazer or Jimmy SUV with racing stripes was reportedly involved.

Friday, July 22

•5400 block of Robert Street, unwanted person. Statement taken from a 42-year-old male regarding a 40-year-old male suspect. Unwanted person removed and advised not to return to the property.

•1800 block of Langdon Road, possible harassment. Patrol spoke with a 43-year-old female regarding a 49-year-old male.

•Walmore Road, harassment/road rage. Patrol spoke with a 23-year-old male regarding an incident that occurred at a gas/convenience business. Complainant did not wish to pursue charges.

•900 block of Orchard Drive, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a 39-year-old female regarding a 45-year-old male suspect. Report filed.

Saturday, July 23

•Indian Hill Road, attempt to locate. Patrol involved in a search for an intoxicated driver. Plate number recorded.

•400 block of Baker Drive, harassment. Patrol reported the arrest of a 42-year-old female; a 41-year-old female was listed as a victim. No further details; report filed.

•200 block of South First Street, menacing. Statement taken from a 57-year-old female; patrol reported the arrest of a 59-year-old male. No further details; report filed.

•500 block of Pletcher Road, stolen dirt bike. Statement taken from a 47-year-old male who reported he witnessed a white male, 6 foot, with blond hair, thin build, blue shorts, in his early 20s steal his bike that had been for sale outside. Suspect last seen heading north bound through Joseph Davis State Park. Patrol checked area with negative results.

•Unspecified location, arrest warrant. Patrol reports executing an arrest warrant on a 45-year-old male. Suspect remanded to Niagara County Jail; report filed.

•3600 block of Ransomville Road, fight involving approximately 24 people at a bar. Patrol reported all parties gone on arrival of NCSO.

•Saunders Settlement Road, attempt to locate. Reckless driver reported as driving all over the road. Negative results on patrol's search.

•1800 block of Ridge Road, domestic disturbance. Patrol spoke with a 55-year-old male and a 45-year-old female. Female party agreed to leave for the night. Domestic Incident Report and patrol's report both filed.

•Military Road, assist. LPD on location with State Police for a DWI. LPD K-9 unit conducted a search of the vehicle.

Sunday, July 24

•100 block of Water Street, assault/domestic. Statement taken from a female regarding a male., Both parties separated for the evening and female did not wish to press charges.

•1800 block of Langdon Road, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a 49-year-old male; suspect unknown.

•4900 block of Indian Hill Road, possible fight. Patrol checked the area and reports all suspects were gone on its arrival. One male suspect was identified.
