Niagara Catholic High School student Allyssa Wadsworth proudly displays her `Showcase of Talent` project `Catapults & Their Usefulness Throughout History.` The sophomore student hypothesized that any high school student could design and build a working catapult. Wadsworth's  catapult propelled a tennis ball 30 feet.

Niagara Catholic's 'Showcase of Talent' Winners

Niagara Catholic High School's annual "Showcase of Talent" was held Wednesday, May 11, in the Bishop Duffy - Alumni Gymnasium.  According to science department instructor and program moderator Georgianna Kowalczyk, more than 30 judges evaluated projects created by students from ninth through 12th grade. These works highlighted the students' unique talents from all areas of study.
