The following activity occurred Monday, May 16, to Sunday, May 22, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. A total of 90 calls were answered by LPD during this period.

Monday, May 16

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers. Both vehicles towed; report filed.

•700 block of Pletcher Road, EMS response. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on location for transport of a subject to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.

Tuesday, May 17

•400 block of Roosevelt Avenue, larceny from a vehicle. Statement taken from a female who reported a GPS, camera and computer taken. Suspect unknown. Report filed.

•2500 block of Upper Mountain Road, criminal mischief to a vehicle.

•1600 block of Saunders Settlement Road, aggravated harassment. Male party had questions regarding his son's Facebook activity. Resolved by patrol.

•5900 block of Garlow Road, aggravated harassment. Patrol spoke with a 55-year-old male regarding a 20-year-old male suspect. Suspect advised not to have contact with the complainant or his family.

•Upper Mountain and Green Road, check area. Caller reported an intoxicated male in the roadway. Negative results on patrol's search.

•700 block of Fairchild Place, custody dispute. Patrol spoke with a 31-year-old male; a 27-year-old female was listed. Resolved by patrol.

•Ransomville Road, assist. Patrol on location with State Police for a property damage accident/driving while intoxicated response. Call handled by State Police.

•Ransomville Road, reckless driver. Patrol checked with negative results.

•100 block of Pletcher Road, loose horse. Animal reported in roadway and in neighbors' yards. Owner advised.

•4600 block of Lower River Road, loud drums complaint. Musician located and advised by patrol to move it indoors.

•700 block of Oxbow Lane, harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 32-year-old female regarding a male suspect. Resolved by patrol.

•2000 block of Upper Mountain Road, larceny complaint. Statement taken from a 40-year-old female who reported cash taken from the house. A 40-year-old male was listed as a suspect. Report filed.

Wednesday, May 18

•400 block of Harper Drive, criminal mischief. No further information; report filed.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, unwanted person. Statement taken from a 60-year-old female regarding a 51-year-old male suspect. Male placed under arrest by patrol; appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Unspecified location, follow-up. Patrol reported the arrest of a 40-year-old male from the Upper Mountain Road larceny complaint. Suspect arraigned at Lewiston Town Court; bail of $5,000/$10,000 assigned, and suspect remanded to custody of Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

•4700 block of Creek Road, check-the-welfare. Patrol spoke with a female who was concerned that family members would take her clock.

•1100 block of Escarpment Drive, attempted larceny from a vehicle. Patrol spoke with a 48-year-old male listed as the complainant/victim. Suspect identified as a white male, with short hair, dark, approximately 30 years old who fled on foot.

•Page and North Seventh streets, suspicious male/vehicle. Subject located by patrol and found to be a solicitor. Patrol advised to obtain a permit.

•Upper Mountain Road, eastbound, assist. Patrol assisted State Police on a vehicle pursuit. Suspects possibly linked to the attempted larceny from vehicle call on Escarpment Drive. Red van located; patrol reported the chase was terminated prior to its involvement.

•Elliott and Callan drives, vehicle pursuit. Patrol reports engaging with other agencies in the vehicle chase from the earlier calls on Escarpment Drive, then on Upper Mountain Road. Vehicle listed as a 2007 red GMC van. Vehicle chased on Upper Mountain out towards Youngstown, and back into Lewiston. Vehicle reportedly crashed on Pletcher Road and the driver fled. LPD K-9 unit track of the suspect unsuccessful. Damage reported to a Town of Lewiston water main and to National Grid property. Vehicle secured for ID and confirmed as stolen. Thursday, May 19

•Pletcher Road, recovered stolen vehicle. Patrol notified the owner of the 2007 red GMC van from the above calls. Report to follow.

•1100 block of Escarpment Drive, burglary. Statement taken from a 52-year-old male. NCSO ID unit requested to process; report filed.

•800 block of Pletcher Road, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a 23-year-old male who reported his car tire was slashed overnight. Report filed.

•800 block of Center Street, criminal mischief. Statement taken; no further details. Report filed.

•700 block of Cayuga Street, mental health response. Patrol listed a 48-year-old male in its report; the call came from a third party. All OK.

•Elliott and Cleghorn drives, recovered property. Patrol recovered a silver Pacific Conquest mountain bike in the bushes. NCSO ID unit notified to process bicycle.

•1600 block of Upper Mountain Road, standby. Patrol on location for attempt to serve court paperwork. No problems reported.

Friday, May 20

•Lewiston Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a 21-year-old male for driving while intoxicated, driving with more than .08 of 1 percent of alcohol and related charges. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle towed. Report filed.

•LPD office, larceny from a vehicle complaint. Statement taken from a 50-year-old male regarding an incident that occurred on the 800 block of Pletcher Road. Items taken included a GPS unit and radar detector. Suspect unknown. Report filed.

•700 block of Ridge Road, dog bite. Statement taken from a 40-year-old male regarding an incident that occurred on May 18; a 48-year-old male was listed in the report. Report filed.

•1300 block of Upper Mountain Road, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers. No injuries or tows; MV form issued. Report filed.

•2500 block of Upper Mountain Road, suspicious male. A 33-year-old male was listed as a suspect. Male refused questioning and fled on foot. Patrol apprehended same and deployed Taser. Arraignment held in Town of Porter Court; bail of $500/$1,000 assigned. Report filed.

•4900 block of Cleghorn Drive, follow-up. Patrol secured possible stolen items not belonging to the victim. Property receipt issued.

•4800 block of Eddy Drive East, unwanted party. Party left without incident.

•100 block of South Water Street, trespasser complaint. Patrol spoke with a 68-year-old female.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, counterfeit currency complaint. Patrol spoke with a 20-year-old male; a 20-year-old male was listed as a suspect. Customer paid for purchase with other currency and no charges filed; $10 bill secured.

Saturday, May 21

•2700 block of Buffalo Street, unwanted person. Patrol spoke with a 62-year-old male regarding an unknown person ringing a doorbell. Negative results on patrol's search.

•5300 block of Military Road, Mount St. Mary's Hospital, domestic incident. Patrol spoke with a 52-year-old female regarding a 51-year-old male suspect from an earlier incident. Domestic Incident report and patrol's report both filed.

•300 block of North Ninth Street, unwanted person. Patrol listed a 23-year-old male. Subject not wanted on location by the owner and advised by patrol not to return.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, property dispute. Patrol reported a male party didn't pay for gas. Situation resolved.

Sunday, May 22

•Unspecified location, traffic stop. Patrol reports citing an unidentified driver for aggravated unlicensed operation and related charges. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court and vehicle towed.

•Vrooman Drive, driving while intoxicated. Patrol reported the arrest of a 20-year-old male for driving while intoxicated. Blood alcohol content testing performed; BAC result, .12 of 1 percent of alcohol. Bail of $250 assigned; report filed.

•4600 block of Model City Road, larceny. A 30-year-old male was listed as a suspect. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court and suspect turned over to LPD officer.

•800 block of Center Street, check-the-welfare. Male who called regarding a fight was gone on patrol's arrival.

•4600 block of Model City Road, fight. Patrol located two females; no fight found. Subjects advised.

•North Eighth Street, check-the-welfare. An intoxicated male was taken by Lewiston No. 1 to a Center Street hotel.

•5300 block of Elm Drive East, criminal mischief. A 55-year-old female reported a unknown person(s) broke the rear window on her vehicle. Report filed.

•Academy Park, assault. An unidentified male party was listed on the call and reported at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Subject refused to talk to patrol about the incident, which occurred the night before.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, missing person. Patrol advised of a 20-year-old male; subject placed on attempt to locate list.

•5200 block of Walmore Road, one vehicle accident. Statement taken by the driver; MV form issued. Report filed.
