On Saturday, Dec. 4, West Street Elementary School held its second annual Breakfast with Santa.

Organized by the West Street Parent's Group officers, the event was originally planned for student and staff families from West Street. Wanting to share the excitement of the event and the holiday season, the officers decided to extend the invite to Errick Road and Colonial Village elementary school families this year. About 280 people attended.

Along with a breakfast of pancakes and sausages, families were able to enjoy baked goods brought in by many of the families and staff at West Street.  Santa came to visit and all the boys and girls had their turn at sitting on his lap and telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Even some moms and dads were seen sitting on Santa's lap and giving him their wish list.

Families also were able to get a little Christmas shopping done at the school's Jingle Bell Shop. (photos by Eric and Dana Weber)
