The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary reports that a Paddlesports America course will be offered Saturday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Gander Mountain at the Lodge, 880 Young St., Tonawanda.

In the course, kayak and canoe owners will learn the basics of paddlesports safety in a classroom setting, with expert instruction provided by U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary-certified instructors. Each student will receive a course textbook that also serves as a handy reference guide. The course fee is $15 per student.
