Long-time Grand Island resident Barbara M. Cannon entered into rest on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at the age of 102. She was born in Jarrow, England, and later moved to Grand Island.

Barbara was wife to the late Gordon Cannon, and the
sister-in-law of Gertrude (Cannon) Wilson. Many nieces and nephews also survive her.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. at Island United Presbyterian Church, 1822 Huth Road.

Interment will be in Whitehaven Cemetery.
