Niagara Falls Americans announce player signings, administrative staff & details

The Niagara Falls Americans recently announced the signing of (RHP) Aidan Paul, (RHP) Sean Duffy, (OF) Sam Heim, (OF) Jack Hollins, (LHP) CJ Hurley, (OF) Xavier Mann, (OF/1B) Nick Moline, (OF/1B) Greydon Miller, (RHP) Brandon Moore, (SS/2B) and (INF) Myles Oo to the 2024 roster.

Paul (SUNY Niagara) is a freshman from Medina. The right-handed pitcher is 4-1 this season with a 1.59 ERA. Duffy (SUNY Niagara) is a graduate from Starpoint High School and is in his freshman year with the Thunderwolves, posting nine strikeouts in just two appearances this year.

The Americans will also welcome Western New York local outfielders Heim (SUNY Niagara) from North Tonawanda High School and Hurley (Niagara University) from Amherst High School. Sophomore 5’10 outfielder Hollins (D’Youville University) brings a .297 batting average to the Americans this summer. Miller (Drury University), a first baseman and outfielder from Ozark, Missouri, drove in 4 runs in 15 at bats while batting .400 in his three starts. Freshman first baseman, outfielder, and Tampa native, Monile (Niagara University) and 6’ freshman infielder Oo (Colby University) of Newton, Massachusetts, have joined the roster this summer. Freshman outfielder Mann (Lenoir-Rhyne) from Buffalo and 6’6 right-handed pitcher Moore (Carolina University) of Brampton, Ontario, round out the first additions to the Americans roster.

The Americans are excited to announce their administrative offices are open and have staff in place. The Americans welcome Dr. Jeff Faunce as the public address announcer, Chuck Harrison as their official team photographer, Cason Harper as the Americans team broadcaster, as well as interns Ryan McLynn (SUNY Cortland), Nolan Palmer (SUNY Cortland), Gunnar Krupa (Syracuse), Corey Cantando (University of Buffalo), Joe DePasquale (St. John Fisher University) and Paige Herndon (Niagara University).
