Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino to welcome comedian Gary Owen and legendary Wayne Newton in July

July will be a dazzling month of entertainment at the Bear’s Den Showroom inside Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, with two amazing two-night performances announced today.

Comedian Gary Owen will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, and Saturday, July 13, followed by the legendary Wayne Newton at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, and Friday, July 26.

Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday, April 19.

Owen has been delighting audiences with his side-splitting humor for over two decades, becoming one of America’s most beloved comedians. Beyond his stand-up performances, Owen has made regular film appearances, including the 2023 releases "Dotty & Soul" and "Back on the Strip," along with memorable roles in "Ride Along," "Little Man" and "Daddy Daycare." On the small screen, Owen headlined his own series, "The Gary Owen Show," on the BET network, and portrayed Zach, the witty barber, in "Tyler Perry's House of Payne." Not confined to acting, he's also written, produced and performed in several stand-up comedy specials, such as "Black Famous," "Urban Legend" and "Breakin' out the Park."

This is an 18-years-and older show. Tickets start at $55.

‘Yacht Rock The Dock’: Christopher Cross and Ambrosia sets sail at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is inviting audiences to set sail on a special musical voyage this July. “Yacht Rock the Dock,” featuring Christopher Cross and Ambrosia, along with Elliot Lurie & Peter Beckett, will cruise into the Seneca Niagara Event Center at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 20. Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday.

Cross burst onto the music scene in 1980 and immediately became one of the decade’s biggest stars. His list of indelible hit songs includes “Arthur’s Theme” “Sailing,” “Ride Like the Wind,” “All Right” and “Think of Laura,” among others. Across his more than four-decade-long career, Cross has sold over 10 million albums and earned five Grammy Awards, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and an Emmy nomination. His music and signature flamingo have become immediately recognized with the increasingly popular “yacht rock” genre.

Ambrosia masterfully weaves together soul, R&B, progressive, and classical influences, continually captivating legions of fans since the 1970s. Their distinct sound is immediately recognizable with classic hits “How Much I Feel,” “Biggest Part of Me” and “You’re the Only Woman.”

Joining Cross and Ambrosia will be Lurie and Beckett. Lurie is a distinguished singer-songwriter and musician whose captivating vocals and soulful melodies are known to many on the iconic hit "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl),” by Looking Glass. Beckett, a prolific singer, songwriter and guitarist, rose to prominence as the lead singer of the band Player with the chart-topping hit "Baby Come Back." Tickets start at $45.

Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, special guests Winger & Lita Ford, set to rock Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino

Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino is ready to rock the Southern Tier with another electrifying show this summer. Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, with special guests Winger and Lita Ford, will perform in the Seneca Allegany Event Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday and start at $35.

Keifer helped define the glam rock sound of the ’80s and ’90s as the guitarist and dynamic frontman of the legendary heavyweight hard rock band Cinderella. Fueled by Keifer’s distinctive voice and masterful guitar style, Cinderella sold more than 15 million records worldwide and delivered such hits as “Shake Me,” “Nobody’s Fool,” “Don’t Know What You Got” and “Shelter Me.” Keifer released his first solo album, “The Way Life Goes,” in 2013, and is enjoying a successful solo career.

Winger emerged as one of the foremost metal bands of the 1980s, delivering memorable rock anthems and stirring power ballads that resonated with audiences worldwide, including “Seventeen,” “Headed for a Heartbreak” and “Miles Away.”

Ford, a former member of the groundbreaking girl group The Runaways, became a legendary figure in the male-dominated heavy metal hair band era with unforgettable hits “Kiss Me Deadly” and “Close My Eyes Forever,” showcasing her unparalleled skill, infectious energy, and undeniable attitude.
