Fallsview Casino Press Release

Don’t miss legendary singer-songwriters Roger Daltrey with KT Tunstall at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on June 14, followed by Nick Carter, who is back to bring the excitement to the Avalon Theatre from Oct. 4-5.

"The performances at Fallsview Casino have really sparked a fun and exciting vibe among guests who can't get enough,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing for Niagara Casinos. “With legendary singer Roger Daltrey and the dynamic KT Tunstall at the stage this June, along with the return of Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter this October. There's no doubt that music enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to at Fallsview Casino.”

On June 14, prepare for an epic night of rock music with Daltrey with Tunstall.

While attending Acton County School, Daltrey was the one who first assembled the group that would become The Who in 1959. His hit songs with The Who include "My Generation," "Pinball Wizard," "Won't Get Fooled Again," "Baba O'Riley" and "You Better You Bet."

Daltrey was ranked 61st on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 greatest singers of all time in 2008. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005. In December 2008, he and Pete Townshend were honored with America's most prestigious cultural award, as recipients of the 31st annual Kennedy Center Honors.

On March 24, 2011, Daltrey and his band gave a complete performance of “Tommy” at a Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall in London, supported by imagery that he commissioned from students at Middlesex University.

Joining Daltrey is Scottish singer-songwriter and musician Tunstall. The Grammy-nominated musician burst onto the music scene with her 2004 multi-Platinum debut, “Eye to the Telescope,” which spawned the global hits “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “Suddenly I See.” These songs, paired with her pioneering looping skills, established Tunstall as a captivating and dynamic must-see performer, as well as a songwriter with a singular knack for balancing introspective folk and propulsive rock.

From Oct. 4-5, we welcome back fan favorite Nick Carter to the Avalon Theatre. Sparking his career at the age of 12, Carter quickly became an international pop superstar as the youngest member of the iconic boy band Backstreet Boys. With his boyish good looks and heartthrob status, Carter's 30-year entertainment journey has extended far beyond sold-out arenas, encompassing a diverse range of projects in television, film, philanthropy and publishing.
