Fatima Shrine to host Palm Sunday brunch

The Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima Shrine announces its 18th annual Palm Sunday buffet brunch will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 24, in the cafeteria, located on shrine grounds at 1023 Swann Road in northern Lewiston.

“We will have a large menu with an assortment of breakfast and lunch foods to choose from. There will also be an Easter bake sale, and Easter baskets,” Shrine rep Jimmy Davey said.

Tickets for the brunch are now available at the Shrine office and cost $19.95 for adults, $14.95 for children ages 6-12, and free for ages 5 and under.

“Get your tickets in advance, there is only a limited amount available,” Davey said.

Davey said the Shrine’s popular fish fries continue during Lent, with servings from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each Friday. Stations of the Cross are offered at noon on Fridays.

Healing Masses will be offered at Fatima Shrine on the first Sunday of each month, starting at 6:30 p.m. May 5, in the basilica.
