Gotee Records' Terrian releases her full-length debut, 'Give It Time'

Powerhouse vocalist Terrian has released her much-anticipated full-length debut, “Give It Time.” 

Her album is a vibrant, compelling mix of pop and R&B with hints of her gospel upbringing featuring songs like the Top 25 single "Big God"; her current single, "Honestly, We Just Need Jesus"; and the title track. Guest appearances on the album include Gotee co-founder and artist TobyMac (who also lends his talents as a co-producer on tracks), Aaron Cole, and American-Israeli singer-songwriter Joshua Aaron, with producing credits from Joel Setien (Madison Ryan Ward), Jordan Mohilowski (MercyMe) and Kyle Williams (We Are Messengers) and Micah Kuiper (TobyMac).

This album has been years in the making as she signed with Gotee Records in 2017 and has worked to hone her craft before releasing a full-length album. 

“I’ve been living with open hands and trusting the Lord’s timing,” Terrian said. “That’s what this whole album is about: waiting. Waiting can be hard, especially when things aren’t going the way you thought they would. Waiting has been hard, but at the same time, it’s been eye-opening. I’m grateful for the time to figure out who I am as an artist.”

Her current radio single, “Honestly, We Just Need Jesus,” has already broken into the Top 30 on Billboard Christian Airplay and Mediabase Christian Impressions charts while also making its debut on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. The single was selected for a K-LOVE First network exclusive at the top of this year and starts playing on Sirius XM channel 63 The Message this week.

As she worked to develop her message and style over the years, Terrian was named Pandora's Artist to Watch in 2021 (the only Christian and gospel artist selected for this list that year), performed on the Stellar Awards and saw her single, “Light It Up,” go to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot AC/CHR chart when she released her debut EP, “Genesis of Terrian.” Her 2020 single, "Let Love Lead," was featured on Spotify's "Black Lives Matter” playlist, where she was one of just two Christian and gospel artists to have their music featured.

More About Terrian

A familiar face to concertgoers, Terrian joined TobyMac's Diverse City band in 2017. She was born and raised in Memphis, where she has rooted herself in community and mentorship being part of AngelStreet Memphis, an organization that mentors girls through musical training in areas with limited artistic opportunities while empowering them to understand their value, discover their purpose, and become creative leaders.

Over the past six years, Terrian has released songs such as "God With Us," "In The Arms," "Big God" and "Let Love Lead." She has also been featured on songs with TobyMac, Matt Maher, Stu G, Jordan Feliz and Reddick.
