Buffalo Music Hall of Fame announces 2024 officers, board of directors

The Buffalo Music Hall of Fame (BMHOF) has announced its officers, board of directors and advisory council for 2024.

The officers who were elected by private ballot on Jan. 12 include: Anthony Casuccio (president and historical committee chair), Tom Lorentz (vice president and nominations committee chair), Diane Strawbrich (secretary) and Robin Brand (treasurer).

The executive board, trustees and committee chairs include Robin Grandin (executive board, communications committee chair, trustee), Carolyn Moser (executive board, events committee chair, trustee), Tom Schuh (executive board, trustee), Kim Burke (outreach/education committee chair, trustee), Richard Sargent (alumni committee chair, trustee), Van Taylor (trustee), Dan Nedescu (trustee), Paula D’Amico (trustee), Will Schulmeister (trustee) and Eddie Tice (trustee). The advisory council for includes Al Hury, Steve Kantor, Bob Luterek, Melissa Kate Miller, Jim Panzarella, Da’Von McCune, Ed Strawbrich and Nick Veltri (past president).

The BMHOF meets the second Tuesday of each month at its headquarters, 340 Amherst St. Newcomers are welcomes to learn more about the BMHOF and to participate and volunteer at its events during the year (and to also patronize the local music scene).

Established in 1983, the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation entity created for the cultural enhancement and enrichment of Buffalo and Western New York through the region's musicians and rich music history. The BMHOF's mission is to honor and protect the diverse cultural music heritage of WNY through preservation, education, scholarship and performance. In doing so, the BMHOF has inducted more than 390 members, who include outstanding musicians, performers and innovators who have made special contributions to the Western New York music community and beyond.
