George and Annette (Penny) Panepinto celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Nov. 19, 2023, with a Mass of thanksgiving at St. Stephen’s, Grand Island, followed by a church social.
George and “Penny” started their marital journey on Nov. 22, 1958, at Holy Angels’ Church in Buffalo. They have been blessed with eight children, 19 grandchildren, and soon to be 11 great-grandchildren.
“Penny” is retired as corporate secretary of Pinto Equipment Inc., the family business located on Grand Island, while George is still active in heavy equipment contracting, recently completing the initial phase of site preparation for the new Buffalo Bills stadium project.
Both have been active on Grand Island throughout the years in civic improvement and service projects.
