Buffalo Chapter of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to host public interfaith 'Voices for Peace'

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community International, under the spiritual guidance of its Caliph Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, has initiated the global #voicesforpeace. A press release stated, “This campaign is a call to action to end the conflict in Gaza and establish a foundation for lasting peace. Echoing this international effort, the Buffalo Chapter is proud to announce a public interfaith ‘Voices for Peace’ session.”

Dr. Nasir Khan, president of the Buffalo Chapter, invites the public to join this gathering at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at Masjid Mahdi, located at 9610 Colvin Blvd. Organizers said, “The event is open to all individuals who share the vision of a peaceful future, regardless of faith, culture or background.”

Khan said, "Let us stand together, as a community and as a voice for peace. This event is open to the public and we welcome everyone to join us. It is our collective effort and prayers that will pave the way towards peace and security for all."

The press release added, “The session is designed to be a beacon of unity, transcending political and social divides. It is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together in a shared mission to actively seek peace and pray for it.

“The Buffalo Chapter encourages everyone to extend this invitation far and wide, emphasizing that the event is not exclusive but rather a communitywide call to action. Your participation and support are invaluable to the success of this initiative.

“For those interested in attending or learning more about the ‘Voices for Peace’ event, please reach out. Your involvement is not only welcomed but essential in our journey towards peace.”

Khan reiterated, "This is a public event, a chance for every voice to be heard, and every heart to unite for a cause that is crucial to us all."
