The Northwest Jazz Festival has begun preparations for the 2024 event taking place in the Village of Lewiston on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 23-24. The board of directors will continue to meet each month in preparation of the festival to plan logistics, musician scheduling, sponsorship, marketing and strategic planning.
The musician application process is now open for consideration to perform at next year’s festival. All interested musicians / performing groups must apply online at www.LewistonJazz.com through an application process.
The board of directors receives nearly 100 applicants each year. Music Director Tony Zambito reviews them, alongside the board, to determine who will perform at the festival. There are approximately 30 performance slots available for the two-day festival. Applications will be accepted through January 2024.
