'Annual Friendly Gathering' for Lewiston Library Friends

The Friends of the Lewiston Library “Annual Friendly Gathering” will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 305 S. Eighth St. Guests can look forward to appetizers, wine, coffee and desserts.

The cost is $15 per person in advance or $20 at the door. Checks can be made payable to Friends of the Library. RSVP is highly appreciated by Wednesday, Nov. 1, to: Joanne at 716-531-2313 or to the Lewiston Public Library at 716-754-4720.

A press release stated, “The Friends of the Lewiston Library is a volunteer organization that advocates and promotes the Lewiston Public Library as a vital community service. The Friends believe that an excellent library is essential to society. The Friends work to promote and assist the library by providing additional money for library materials, equipment and/or services from funds received through payment of dues for Friends memberships and various fundraising activities.
