Five local women from various agencies/organizations and businesses will present a free information session on elder planning from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Ransomville Free Library, 3733 Ransomville Road.
“We are happy to have the opportunity to offer this information session on elder planning,” said Candyce Vana Ingwersen, attorney at law, and one of the presenters. “I have organized several of these sessions in the past and hope to continue to do so throughout Niagara County.”
In addition to Ingwersen, featured presenters include: Michelle Spencer from Aging Well Care Management; Laurie M. Bauch, OTR/L from Positive Approach to Care; Eva M. Christ, seniors real estate specialist; and Christine S. O’Hara, M.S., from Home Assistance Referral Team (HART).
Some of the topics to be discussed include estate planning, aging in place, assisting seniors transitioning to new housing, person-centered dementia care, and services provided by Medicaid.
