The Christ Redemption Tabernacle Church has been awarded $100,000 from the City of Niagara Falls for facility improvements to the building located at 339 22nd St. Mayor Robert Restaino announced the award with Bishop Kevin Dobbs.

The Christ Redemption Tabernacle Church needed facility improvements, namely the roof, so it can continue to provide the programs and services for those most in need in the Niagara Falls community.

“The Restaino administration has been a great partner in the Niagara Falls community, and this award will allow our organization to make these much-needed repairs to our building,” Dobbs said. “We are grateful to the mayor and his staff for providing this funding.

This one-year grant of $100,000 is a reimbursement award that is included with additional funding for the grantee to complete their facility improvements.

Restaino said, “We are happy to partner with Bishop Dobbs and his staff to provide financial assistance through the Community Development Block Grant program. These funds, together with private investments, help to continue the much-needed service delivery in the center part of the city.”

For more information, contact Dobbs at 716-285-2990 or the mayor’s office at City Hall at 716-286-4300.
