Thursday, Sept. 7

•Lewiston Queenston Bridge, Plaza Building 1, forgery – Caller to 911 stated a party was requesting a cash app transfer from an onsite cash register to a private bank account. Transaction not completed; party transferred cash from a personal account. Report taken.

•900 block of Center Street, MVA-property damage – Caller to 911 reported a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot. Patrols responded.

•100 block of Smith Street, disturbance, non-domestic – Caller to 911 reported screaming and fighting in the hallway. A female located her husband in the apartment of another female and confronted them. Patrols responded; call handled. The male party left with his wife; all OK.

•Military/Old Military roads, MVA-property damage – Caller to 911 reported a two-vehicle accident; no injuries, vehicles need flatbeds for removal. Patrols responded.

•2700 block of Upper Mountain Road, forgery – Caller reported being scammed; banking information provided, report requested. Patrols responded.

•2300 block of Ridge Road, MVA-property damage – Caller to 911 said a garbage truck had dropped debris and damaged a vehicle, both on standby. Patrols responded; report taken.

•2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious activity – Caller to 911 reported a vehicle occupied by three subjects were in a parking lot for 40 minutes; caller found it suspicious. Patrol responded.

•1300 block of Upper Mountain Road, MVA-injuries – Caller to 911 reported a motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle; driver conscious and alert. Patrol responded,

•Locations at Saunders Settlement/Mayflower roads and at Creek/Calkins roads, vehicle/traffic stops – Calls officer initiated. Violations per stop were driver cited for speeding in a school zone, vehicle clocked at 53 mph in a 30-mph zone; and registered owner, speed in zone, vehicle clocked at 63 mph in a 45-mph zone. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Patrols issued warnings to four drivers for violations at other locations.

Friday, Sept. 8

•700 block of Center Street, accident hit-run – Caller to 911 reported their vehicle was struck while parked. Patrol followed up with both parties; officer said there was insufficient evidence to list the second vehicle in the accident report. Reported completed as a hit-run; accident victim provided info for their insurance company. Report taken.

•4600 block of Dickersonville Road, assist public – Anonymous caller to 911 reported a male neighbor was outside completely naked. Caller said the male was on his deck with a robe open and no clothing underneath. Call said this behavior has occurred sporadically over the past few years and requests it to cease. Patrols on scene; male strongly advised to cease sunbathing activity and a complaint has been lodged. Officers also said an aggressive dog was at the residence.

•4300 block of Autumn Lane, custody problem, 911 complaint; patrols responded, report taken.

•Academy Park, theft – Officer initiated call. Patrol reported a theft at the Peach Festival; a juvenile was turned over to a family member and not allowed to return. No charges.

•5800 block of Buffalo Street, MVA-injuries – Caller to 911 reported a two-vehicle accident; patrols responded, report taken.

•100 block of N. Fourth Street, assist – Caller to 911 reported juveniles being destructive at Toohey Park; subjects banging on musical equipment. Patrols responded; no subjects found.

•Academy Park, disturbance non-domestic – Caller to 911 reported a male pulled a knife on another subject at the Peach Festival. One male detained and released on appearance tickets for Lewiston Town Court.

 •800 block of Cayuga Street, check welfare – Dispatch reported a sick juvenile from the rides at the Peach Festival. Patrols responded.

Saturday, Sept. 9

•100 block of N. Fourth Street, assist – Caller reported a group of juveniles standing on tables and screaming at Toohey Park. Patrols responded.

•4300 block of Autumn Lane, harassment – Caller complaint; patrols responded.

•800 block of Pletcher Road, death – 911 call; patrols responded, no further information.

•5400 block of Walmore Road, disturbance, non-domestic – Caller to 911 reported a male was jumped; subject beaten in face and his teeth were missing, EMS requested. Patrols responded. Report taken.

•Locations on the 1800 block of Mount Hope Road; at Saunders Settlement/Townline roads; and on the 800 block of Center Street, vehicle/traffic stops – Calls officer initiated. Violations per stop were male driver cited for facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; operating a vehicle when approaching a stopped authorized emergency vehicle; and speed in zone; driver, speed in zone, vehicle clocked at 68 mph in a 45-mph zone; and registered owner, disobeying a traffic control device. Appearance and uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Patrols issued warnings to eight drivers for violations at other locations.

Sunday, Sept. 10

•4600 block of Stacey Drive, check welfare – Caller to 911 reported walking by a residence and hearing screams for help. Patrols responded.

•Monteagle Trail, Niagara University, MVA-injuries – 911 call from security reported a vehicle had crashed in the Dwyer Ice Arena parking lot and drove into a pole; driver has scratches and bruising on face. Patrol responded.

•Military/Lewiston roads, harassment – Caller to 911 reported a road rage incident. Caller stated a vehicle sped up behind him and he reacted with comments and gestures; responses from the second driver continued, with words exchanged at next vehicle stop. As vehicles left caller said the second driver threw a plastic water bottle at him, no damage reported and both drivers then departed. Patrol advised the caller on making gestures and actions to second vehicle. Patrol cleared.

•Mohawk Street/W. Eddy Drive, MVA-property damage – Caller reported a vehicle struck a street sign and road supports; report requested. Patrol responded.

•3200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious activity – 911 complaint, patrols responded, report taken.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, assist public – Caller to 911 said a friend of a friend had stolen her dog and is now refusing to return it. Patrols responded.

•5000 block of Callan Drive, burglary – Female caller to 911 said an unknown party entered the unoccupied residence and took approximately $350 in cash from a wallet that was in her coat. Patrols responded.

Monday, Sept. 11

•4400 block of Creek Road, MVA-injuries – Automated i-phone message to 911 reported the driver was involved in a “severe car crash.” Patrols responded; officers found the cellphone had fallen off a truck and no accident occurred.

•4300 block of Autumn Lane, forgery – Caller stated an unknown party attempted to take out a $10,000 loan in their name. Patrols responded.

•400 block of Fuller Place, assist public – Caller reported an ordinance violation from a neighbor who was power washing before 11 p.m. Patrol said no violation occurred.

•Locations on the 5600 block of Townline Road; at Niagara Scenic Parkway/Ridge Road; at Hyde Park Boulevard/Roosevelt Avenue; at Black Nose Spring/Upper Mountain Roads; and at Lewiston Road/Fort Gray Drive, vehicle/traffic stops. All calls officer initiated. Violations per stop were driver cited for speed in zone, vehicle clocked at 67 mph in 45-mph zone; driver, speed in zone, vehicle clocked at 76 mph in a 55-mph zone; driver, disobeying a traffic control device; driver, uninspected motor vehicle; and driver, operating a vehicle when approach a stopped, authorized emergency vehicle; illegal U-turn; and failure to signal when turning right. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court.

 

Tuesday, Sept. 12

•100 block of S. Water Street, suspicious activity – Caller to 911 reported a suspicious van in a parking lot. Patrols responded.

•800 block of Center Street, theft – Caller reported a recent theft of lottery tickets from a business. Patrols responded; report taken.

•800 block of Swann Road, assist public – Caller to 911 wanted advice regarding a former tenant trespassing at an apartment. Patrols responded.

•4800 block of Military Road, shoplifting – 911 complaint, patrol responded, report taken.

•800 block of Ridge Road, domestic disturbance – Phone complaint, patrol responded.

Wednesday, Sept. 13

•4000 block of Creek Road, LPD office, forgery – Officer initiated call. Male reported a Verizon account was opened in their name.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, assist – Caller to 911 reported that she and two teenage friends had played “ding dong ditch” to a nearby apartment and were chased by an individual. Patrol responded.
