Submitted by the North Tonawanda Common Council

At Tuesday’s meeting, the North Tonawanda Common Council and the Niagara County Legislature declared Aug. 15 as “Hannah Strong Day” in honor of 12-year-old Hannah Koepsell.

Hannah was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). Hannah continues to demonstrate qualities of strength, love, kindness and care that inspire our city and community beyond NT.

Hannah was joined by her family and grandparents as the city and county presented her proclamations.
