Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center welcomes Dr. Philip M. Sauvageau as new medical director of Schoellkopf Health Center

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) announced the appointment of Dr. Philip M Sauvageau as the new medical director of Schoellkopf Health Center, effective Sept. 1.

A press release noted, “With 27 years as an internal medicine specialist, Dr. Sauvageau brings both an abundance of experience and a deep connection to the Niagara Falls community.

“As a board-certified physician, Dr. Sauvageau has a proven track record of excellence in patient care and medical leadership. His previous affiliations with medical institutions, including Buffalo General Medical Center, and Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center, have further honed his expertise in delivering high-quality health care services.

“Along with assuming the role of medical director at Schoellkopf, Dr. Sauvageau also serves as medical director at Our Lady of the Peace Rehabilitation Facility, where he demonstrates a commitment to improving the lives of patients in his care.”

Sauvageau earned his medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Additionally, he is a graduate of Niagara University with a bachelor of science degree in biology.
