2023 Premier Gala supports MRI capital campaign

Premier Gala 2023 co-chairs Dr. Peter and Sheryl Muscarella present a check for $112,000 to Dr. Travis Mastroianni from Southtowns Radiology. The funds were raised by the sponsors and 600-plus attendees at Memorial’s signature event, which was held at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino on April 29. The Premier Gala honored NFMMC’s own Dr. Jeffrey Burnett, program director of the family medicine residency program; and Sam and Maralynn Giancola.

Proceeds will support Memorial’s campaign to acquire a new 3T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) unit, to be housed on the medical center’s 10th Street campus.

A press release stated, “The MRI Imaging Center of Niagara will provide patients across the region with access to higher-quality scans, faster diagnosis, and early detection of cancers and other diseases at treatable stages.”
