Make plans for 26th annual Buffalo Niagara Buddy Walk

Please join the Family and Friends Down Syndrome Association of Niagara Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) and local affiliate organization of The National Down Syndrome Society on Saturday, Sept. 9, for the 26th annual Buffalo Niagara Buddy Walk in the Lewiston Kiwanis Peach Festival parade.

No advance registration is required. On-site registration is from 9-10:30 a.m., and costs $10 per person. Cash, checks and PayPal will be accepted. Lime green Buddy Walk T-shirts will be worn. No shirts will be sold. Next year, we have to change to the official National Down Syndrome Society shirts.

Wear lime green shirts if you don’t have an old Buddy Walk shirt.

Free ride tickets are limited in number and available for all walkers under the age of 18. A pizza party will follow the walk.

Register and assemble in front of the Lewiston village offices at the Red Brick Municipal Building, North Fourth and Ridge streets. The Discover Niagara Shuttle will be available to transport those wishing to not walk the one-mile route down Center Street.
