The Sanborn Area Historical Society is presenting its 16th annual Farm Museum Festival on Saturday and Sunday, July 22 and 23.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and take place at the Sanborn Area Farm Museum, 2660 Saunders Settlement Road (Route 31) in Sanborn. Admission is free.
Experience two days filled with a breakfast each day, a bake sale, classic car cruise, farmers market and antique tractors and equipment exhibits.
There is a tractor parade each day, as well as music, food vendors, a huge basket auction, kids crafts and more. The parade is at 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
The Lewiston Police Canine Show takes place both days, from 12:15 through 1 p.m.
Kids activities also take place both days, from noon to 3 p.m.
Saturday’s lineup includes a pancake breakfast from 8-11 a.m., the opening ceremony at 10 a.m.; Seymeenetrical from 10:30-11:15 a.m.; and a traveling violinist from 1-2 p.m., followed by a performance by Parkside Brass Quartet.
Sunday opens with a French toast breakfast; features Pife and Drum from noon to 1 p.m.; Make Your Own Sunday at 1:30 p.m.; and the Sanborn Fire Co. Band from 2-3 p.m.
The German and American Car Cruise-In takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Farm Museum. All German and American cars are welcome, including classic Airkewld and water pumper VWs and Porsches, BMW, Mercedes, Fords, all General Motors and Mopars.
