Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center announced the addition of three vascular surgeons to its medical team. Dr. Brittany Montross, M.D., RPVI; Dr. Sikandar Khan, MBBS; and Dr. Raphael Blochle, M.D., have joined Memorial and will offer a certified noninvasive vascular lab service, providing vascular care to the Niagara Falls community.

“The addition of these three highly accomplished vascular surgeons reinforces Memorial’s commitment to delivering advanced vascular care and improving patient outcomes,” said Joseph Ruffolo, president and CEO of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. “We are confident that their arrival will further strengthen our vascular surgery department and improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve.”

Montross joins NFMMC after a tenure as a vascular surgeon with Kaleida Health and UBMD Surgery. In addition to her clinical practice, Montross also serves as a clinical assistant professor, actively teaching medical students, residents and vascular fellows. She obtained her medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, and completed an integrated vascular surgery residency. With a special interest in women's vascular health, Montross’ training covers both open and minimally invasive (endovascular) vascular surgery, which includes peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, carotid disease, hemodialysis access, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), and thoracic aortic aneurysm.

Khan is a highly experienced vascular surgery specialist with over 16 years of practice, graduating from King Edward Medical University in 2006 and completing his residency at Yale University of Medicine. Khan has expertise in endovascular and open surgical treatments for diseases such as peripheral arterial disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms, thoracic aneurysms and dissections, carotid disease, venous disease, and dialysis access surgery. Khan is affiliated with ECMC Health Campus and holds multiple academic positions, including clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.

Blochle serves as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University at Buffalo and is an attending staff vascular surgeon for UBMD Surgery at Erie County Medical Center.
