Village Board recognizes Dan Buttery

The Village of Lewiston Board of Trustees recognized Dan Buttery ahead of Tuesday’s municipal meeting. The Black Lab Metal Fab artist was presented a certificate of appreciation for his work in creating, crafting and installing the new “Lewiston Landing” sign on North Water Street.

Mayor Anne Welch shared the speech she offered at a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Friday.

Buttery said it was “an honor” to share the “legacy piece.” He thanked the board and the community for giving him an opportunity to install the artwork.
