I am William “Bill” Burg, a longtime family resident of our town and a passionate advocate in the power of community. With over two decades of experience in community volunteering and a deep understanding of our town’s unique challenges, I am dedicated to serving you, my neighbors, as we work together to create a prosperous and inclusive town.

I have an engineering background from General Motors University and Buffalo State, managed regional accounts for a national building products company, and in 2012 started Greater Niagara Building Center, serving our local communities with integrity and fairness.

My mission is to foster a transparent, accountable and inclusive government that serves the needs and aspirations of every citizen. I believe in fairness, integrity and collaboration, and I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure that our town becomes a place where everyone can thrive. I aim to protect the Lewiston taxpayers with fiscal responsibility, while preserving the integrity and individuality of the village and Sanborn.

As a former member of the ZBA and current chairperson of the Town of Lewiston Planning Board, I promote accountable and sensible development, implementing rational green policies, as well as to continue the great work of our current Town Board on preserving our comprehensive plan and enhancing our infrastructure and natural beauty. I have served and chaired on a dozen boards. I understand how boards function and, as a business owner, I understand taxes, budgets, and the needs of small businesses in our community.

Together, we can achieve remarkable things for our town. I invite you to join me in this endeavor by volunteering, spreading the word about our campaign, and sharing your thoughts and concerns. Together, let's build a Lewiston we can all be proud to call home.

I would look forward to working with our supervisor, Steve Broderick; our incumbent board members, Jason Meyers, Rob Morreale and John Jacoby; and I will do my level best to pick up the mantle of hard work and common sense from our retiring councilman, Bill Geiben.

I hope I can count on your support and vote in the upcoming primary on June 27, and the general election on Nov. 7. I thank you for your consideration.

I am the endorsed Republican and Conservative party candidate.
