Shelley Richards, Niagara County Genealogical Society board chairman and author of a recently published book on St. Patrick's Cemetery in Lockport, will share her trials and tribulations, as well as the basics of researching her own family during this 90-minute workshop.
Richards has been tracing her own family for 18 years and will share key organizational strategies, documentation best practices, as well as online and in-person resources for chronicling your own family history.
The event is open to the public.
