Castellani Art Museum holiday happenings: Holiday Bash, Museum Shop sale

The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 25, Thanksgiving Day and Friday, Nov. 27. The museum will be open over Thanksgiving weekend, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday.

Thanksgiving weekend coincides with the beginning of the Castellani Art Museum's annual holiday Museum Shop sale. Everything is 20 percent off from Saturday, Nov. 28, through Tuesday, Dec. 22. The shop features jewelry, scarves, men's neckties and bowties, art books, note cards, art posters and prints.

CAM's ninth annual Holiday Bash will take place from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11. This festive, end-of-year event features live music by Penelope. Refreshments, a cash bar, basket raffle and a door prize round out the event, which is free to museum members, Niagara University faculty, staff and students. Admission is $10 for the general public.

The museum will be closed from Dec. 23 through Jan. 3, in conjunction with Niagara University's holiday recess. For more information, call 716-286-8200.
