'Baskets, Tunes and Food' benefits Christ the King

The Thurman Brothers band will perform on Sunday, May 18, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the "Baskets, Tunes and Food" event to benefit Wheatfield's Christ the King Preparatory Academy. The event will be held at the Brounshidle Post 3354 Delaware Ave, Kenmore.

The event also will feature a theme basket auction, pizza, pop, cotton candy, popcorn, and chocolate bars.

Tickets are $15 at the door and include a slice of pizza, pop and one sheet of tickets. Cost for a child is $8. For more information, call 716-553-6318 or email [email protected].

Christ the King Preparatory Academy is at 3571 Niagara Falls Blvd., at Meadowbrook Square Plaza.
