The Grand Island School District this week issued the following advisory:
"It has come to our attention that there is someone traveling door to door on Grand Island claiming they are gathering information on behalf of the Grand Island Central School District. Please note that the school district is not currently nor would they ever be involved in any door to door soliciting of this type.
"It has been brought to the superintendent's attention and he has advised residents to call 911 if someone should come to your door claiming to represent the district."
