Presti Karate will offer free karate lessons for the month of April. Any child member of Presti Karate Centers locally, their parents, and family members age 15 and older will qualify to get April lessons at no charge.

"We're taking it one stop better, were even allowing parents to bring friends to train as well, also free," says John Presti.

He reports this is in conjunction with Presti's "Kids only" karate tournament taking place Saturday, March 24, at Niagara Catholic. Thus far, Presti Karate has more than 125 of its students ages 6 to 18 ready to compete in sparring, kata and weapons.

"This is the only tournament of its kind where 'kids only' compete. We're very proud of all of them," says Presti.

Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit Child Advocacy of Niagara, Community Missions and Niagara Falls Boys and Girls Club. Last year Presti raised more than $16,000, all of which was donated. Over the years, he has raised more than $78,000.
