Niagara Catholic Jr./Sr. High School was proud to celebrate the induction of 12 students into the National Honor Society on Wednesday, Feb. 8, with a candlelight ceremony held in the Bishop Duffy Alumni Gymnasium. The inductees included Akshay Bedi, Francesca Costanzo, Danielle DeVole, Griffin Gansworth, Alexandria Goodsell, DeAnna Kajfasz, Shannon Lawson, Ian Prawel, Dominic Sciarrino, Madeline Sweeney, Allyssa Wadsworth and William Whisker.
A celebratory reception was held following the induction.
Mrs. Cessna, NHS advisor and Spanish instructor at NC, said students are chosen on the basis of maintaining a grade-point average of 90 percent or higher, outstanding leadership qualities, character values, and service to both their school and community.
