The following incidents occurred from Oct. 24 to Oct. 30, as reported by the Grand Island Fire Co. A total of 23 calls were answered by the department during this period. The GIFC has now responded to 1,256 calls so far this year.

Monday, Oct. 24

•12:19 p.m., Whitehaven Road, first aid - assist only.

•4:13 p.m., Grand Island Boulevard, first aid - trauma call.

Tuesday, Oct. 25

•2:46 p.m., Whitehaven Road, first aid - trauma call.

•3:34 p.m., Queens Drive, first aid - medical call.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

•8:49 a.m., East River Road, first aid - medical call.

•9:59 a.m., Long Road, fire call - accidental fire alarm.

Thursday, Oct. 27

•6:54 a.m., Islewoods Drive, first aid - medical call.

•10:23 a.m., Love Road, first aid - medical call.

•1:25 p.m., Baseline Road, first aid - medical call.

•3 p.m., Long Road, first aid - medical call.

Friday, Oct. 28

•8:27 a.m., Bedell Road, first aid - medical call.

•10:24 a.m., Whitehaven Road, first aid - medical call.

•5:30 p.m., Grand Island Boulevard, fire call - heavy smoke found to be form normally operating construction equipment.

Saturday, Oct. 29

•5:54 a.m., Spicer Creek Run, first aid - medical call.

•5:36 p.m., Staley Road, fire call - accidental alarm. (Avoidable.)

•11:03 p.m., Crescent Road, fire call - carbon monoxide investigation.

Sunday, Oct. 30

•6:50 a.m., Thruway South, first aid - trauma call.

•7:28 a.m., Thruway South, first aid - motor vehicle accident involving stationary fire apparatus.

•8:11 a.m., Thruway North, first aid - eight patients evaluated from six separate accidents. One patient transported to hospital by ambulance.

•9:52 p.m., Grand Island Boulevard, first aid - trauma call.

•11:07 p.m., Whitehaven Road, first aid - medical call.
