DAV Mobile Service Office to visit VFW

The Disabled American Veterans Mobile Service Office will stop at the Pfc. Charles N. DeGlopper Memorial Post No. 9249 Veterans of Foreign Wars parking lot, 2121 Grand Island Blvd., on Monday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Service officers will be available to counsel veterans and help with claim-filing for all medical, educational or employment benefits due. Veterans are urged to visit this free service, provided by the Disabled American Veterans through a $2 million commitment from the Harley-Davidson Foundation.

DAV membership is not required to use this service. Those seeking assistance should take any claim letters, documentation and Social Security number.
