Niagara County Sheriff's Office Report (Tribune area) for June 16

The following is a sampling of police calls in Wheatfield and Town of Niagara as reported by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office from May 30 to June 5.

Monday, May 30

•6200 block of Nash Road, Wheatfield, burglary. Shed broken into; gas can taken.

•6300 block of Nash Road, Wheatfield, larceny. A purse and other items were taken from an unlocked vehicle at one residence and a larceny from a garage was reported at another.

•3500 block of Northcreek Run, Wheatfield, criminal mischief. Two reports received of houses being egged overnight.

Tuesday, May 31

•Niagara Falls Boulevard, near Days Inn, Wheatfield, injured animal. Deer struck by car in roadway.

•2100 block of Amy Drive, Wheatfield, juvenile problem. Report of people ringing doorbells and running.

Wednesday, June 1

•7000 block of Lakeside Drive, Wheatfield, injured person. Patrol responded for a 21-year-old child who had fallen down 14 stairs.

•3200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, harassment. Complainant said he was punched in the face at a business.

•6900 block of Ward Road, Wheatfield, assault. An employee at a business reported being hit.

•6900 block of Sy Road, Wheatfield, neighbor problem. Neighbor reportedly made threats.

•3400 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Town of Niagara, assault. Complainant reports an assault by an unknown male wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

Thursday, June 2

•6900 block of Williams Road, Wheatfield, reckless driver. Red Pontiac reported doing burnouts in parking lot.

•2100 block of Sawyer Drive, Wheatfield, criminal mischief. Complainant's car was keyed while the individual was at work.

•2100 block of Liberty Drive, Wheatfield, accident. Car hit by truck; no injuries.

•7300 block of Ward Road, Wheatfield, burglary. Report received that someone had climbed balcony and gotten into an apartment.

Friday, June 3

•6900 block of Lakeside Drive, Wheatfield, reckless driver. Report received of a young driver in an older model black Chevrolet driving recklessly.

•3400 block of Lakewood Drive, Wheatfield, larceny. Canoe reported taken from back yard.

•7100 block of Ward Road, Wheatfield, fight. Report received of five to seven young adults fighting in back parking lot.

Saturday, June 4

•Deborah Lane, Wheatfield, juvenile problem. Report received of four juveniles vandalizing the park.

•3800 block of Lockport Road, Wheatfield, general complaint. Ex-girlfriend in driveway; subject asked to leave wedding.

Sunday, June 5

•6900 block of Townline Road, Wheatfield, road obstruction. Cars parked in road blocking traffic.

•2400 block of Washington Street, Wheatfield, larceny. Lawn ornament taken from yard during the weekend.
