It is finally here!

Monday, March 28, marked the spring premiere of ABC Family's "Secret Life of the American Teenager." The comedy-drama stars Shailene Woodley, who plays Amy Juergens, a naïve high school student who got pregnant after a one-night stand at band camp.

In a question-and-answer session with Woodley, she explained the good, the bad and the ugly of what is to come this season.

Woodley shared a few secrets that will occur: There will be a marriage proposal, a birth, and, of course, much drama. Woodley's character, Amy, is starting a new life after learning her ex-boyfriend, Ben, impregnated her enemy, Adrian. She wants to move forward with her baby's father, Ricky. In an effort to get over her ex, Ben, Amy decides to take things to the next level with Ricky.

"I think there are a lot of pressures that she kind of puts upon herself just because Adrian and Ben. Their relationship is kind of progressing," said Woodley. "I think she wanted to prove to other people that she and Ricky were more committed. I think she really proposed to him more to prove to others than she did for herself."

It makes perfect sense for Ricky and Amy to wed, considering they have a child together, but the show would lack suspense if all were this simple. Ricky has said numerous times he does not want to get married, because his parent's marriage did not end well. Amy's parents are divorced, too, and have had several family issues.

Despite their broken homes, Amy has a fantasy in her head of her, Ricky, and her son, John, being the perfect little family.

"I see Amy most happy with Ricky, with John, in an amazing job where they are a family. The problem is Amy does not trust Ricky. She has trust issues with him because of his past," said Woodley.

Ricky has slept with many girls. He has sex when he is happy, when he is sad ... and every emotion in between. Since Amy and Ricky will be an official couple throughout this season, she wants to ensure Ricky is committed to her and he is clean. She asks him to get tested for sexual transmitted infections.

"That is why she is waiting to sleep with him," said Woodley. "I think that she is taking the appropriate precautions, because Ricky has been with a lot of girls. I know she wants to him to make sure that - maybe get tested to make sure that there is no danger involved in it to her own body or there are no risks."

Along with the off-the-edge relationship with Amy and Ricky, other drama ensues. Woodley shared a few more secrets: there might be a wedding; someone may move in with someone else; another character could fall in love with an unexpected character; and, of course, fighting will ensue between Amy and her sister, Ashley, over Ricky.

Ashley is going to be home schooled, because she cannot stand the sight of her sister and Ricky together. Even though he is Amy's baby daddy, Ashley developed feelings for him last season and even kissed him. The sibling rivalry will be something to watch.

And will Ricky accept Amy's proposal? If so, will they set a wedding date? Will Amy ever be able to forgive Ben for getting Adrian pregnant? Will the sister-rivalry continue more often now that Amy and Ricky are actually dating?

There is only one way to find out. Tune in to "Secret Life of the American Teenager" on Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC Family to experience all the drama.
