Registration now open for restaurants to participate in Western New York’s second annual Healthy Options Restaurant Week, March 4-10
Submitted by the Independent Health Foundation
Restaurants from all corners of Western New York are invited to highlight the healthy, nutritious food on their menus by participating in the second annual Healthy Options Restaurant Week happening March 4-10.
The weeklong event encourages the community to visit new restaurants and discover tasty ways to stick to health and nutrition goals while enjoying a meal out.
Each vendor will be asked to serve a “Healthy Option” menu including one appetizer, one entrée, and an optional dessert. They can tap into the expertise of the Independent Health Foundation’s registered dietitian nutritionist to fine-tune or create their healthy option menu items.
There is no cost for participating restaurants, who can sign up by submitting recipes for their menu items through Feb. 5 at www.healthyoptionsbuffalo.com/restaurantweek. For more information, visit the website or contact [email protected].
Healthy Options Restaurant Week presented by the Independent Health Foundation, Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals and Appétit.
