On Monday, "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation" came to a conclusion when Kida Burns was named the winner during the live two-hour season finale on FOX. Burns, 14, from Sacramento, received the most votes and danced off with the cash prize of $250,000, the cover of Dance Spirit magazine and the title of "America's Favorite Dancer."
"Being named 'America's Favorite Dancer' means a lot to me, because I've worked hard, up to this point, to accomplish my life goal of showing the world my talent," Burns said.
Fellow finalists J.T. Church, Emma Hellenkamp and Tate Mcrae were eliminated as host Cat Deeley revealed the voting results.
In addition to naming "America's Favorite Dancer," the season 13 finale of "SYTYCD: TNG" featured a performance by Maddie Ziegler and the top 10 finalists, as well as a performance from Russian ballet dancer Sergei Polunin.
