Award-winning country and pop vocalist LeAnn Rimes will start the new year off with a twang, heading up the January entertainment lineup at Seneca Resorts & Casinos. Rimes and improvisational genius Wayne Brady will bring their talents to the Seneca Niagara Events Center, while the cozy Bear's Den Showroom will hum with former Barenaked Ladies' lead singer Steven Page, "American Pie" favorite Don McLean, Canadian country artist Michele Wright and several performances of Brandon Bennett's "Elvis My Way" - the closest thing to the King of Rock 'n' Roll in concert.

The Seneca Allegany Events Center will see Grammy-winning rock group America perform, and Phil Vassar with Lyndsey Highlander will combine for a soulful Nashville sound.

Tickets for all January shows go on sale Friday at noon and are available at select Seneca Resort & Casino retail outlets, www.Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations or by phone at 800-745-3000.

Three-time American Country Music award winner Rimes will light up the Seneca Niagara Events Center at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9. Ticket prices start at $30. Rimes, with her remarkably similar Patsy Cline sound, shot to fame in 1996 at the ripe age of 13 with the debut hit single "Blue." "Blue" reached No. 1 on the Top Country albums charts, went multiplatinum and was an overall Top 10 hit. Rimes has won two Grammys, three American Country Music awards, a Country Music Award, 12 Billboard Music Awards and an American Music award.

The hilarious, multitalented Brady will take the stage of the Seneca Niagara Events Center at 8 p.m. Jan. 31; tickets start at $30. Brady won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in a variety, musical or comedy series for his on-the-spot improvisational work on the hit TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" In 2001, Brady starred in his own ABC-network variety show, "The Wayne Brady Variety Show," and a daytime talk show of the same name in 2002, which won four Daytime Emmy Awards (two of which went to Brady for Outstanding Talk Show Host).

Page, formerly lead singer with Barenaked Ladies, will give what he calls a "theatrical and intimate" solo performance - perfectly slated for the up-close-and-personal experience fans can only get in the Bear's Den Showroom at 8 p.m. on Jan. 16. Tickets start at $25. Page, who stems from the northern side of the border in Canada, has released five solo albums since 2005. His work is upbeat and stylistically "all over the map," ranging from power-pop to disco, to "big band" jazz to folk.

In celebration of Elvis Presley's 80th birthday weekend, Bennett will bring his blue-suede-shoe "Elvis My Way" tribute show to the stage in the Bear's Den for three dates: Jan. 9 at 8 p.m.; Jan. 10 for two shows at 3 and 8 p.m.; and Jan. 11 at 3 p.m. Tickets start at $15. Bennett is the closest thing to Elvis as perhaps anyone has achieved, having won the "Ultimate Elvis Tribute Contest" and the crown for the title of "Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist" at Graceland. His tribute show and band "The Heartbreak Orchestra" performs across the country and has opened for Chuck Berry and Ronnie Milsap.

McLean will no doubt have the audience singing along to the perennial favorite pop-folk epic "American Pie" in the Bear's Den at 8 p.m. Jan. 17. Tickets start at $35. Since 1971, McLean has amassed more than 40 gold and platinum records worldwide. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2004. McLean has released a number of solo projects over the years and has re-recorded old favorites, along with a collection of classic pop, country and jazz covers.

Canadian country music artist Wright will croon the night away in the Bear's Den at 8 p.m. Jan. 30. Tickets start at $35. Wright is one of Canada's most widely recognized and awarded female country singers. She is a two-time winner of the Canadian Country Music Awards Fans' Choice Entertainer of the Year award. Her single, "Take it Like a Man," hit No. 1 on the country music charts in Canada, and hit the Top Ten on the Top 40 Billboard Hot Country song chart in the US.

Vassar, who developed a reputation as the man behind the music, as one of Nashville's top songwriters, combines talents with Highlander, a rising country music powerhouse at the Seneca Allegany Events Center Jan. 10. Tickets start at $25. Vassar, who charted 19 singles on the BillboardHot Country Songs charts, will put all his soulful vocals and talents on display to combine blue-grass, rhythm and blues and mountain music for his own brand of country sound.

Highlander's "Flowers Ain't Gonna Fix This," hit the No. 1 spot on Country Music TV's "Pure 12-pack Countdown" for eight straight weeks. The two have been bringing crowds to their feet since hitting the road together.

America, one of the most popular soft-rock bands of the '70s will bring their laid-back sound to the Seneca Allegany Events Center stage at 7 p.m. Jan. 23. Tickets start at $20. The former trio, now-duo, captivated U.S. audiences with their Neil Young-like sound, winning them a Grammy, and landing them in the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2006. Their singles, "A Horse with No Name" and "Sister Golden Hair," both hit No. 1 on the charts, and five of their albums were in the Top 10.

The Bear's Den Showroom will harvest laughter this October with the eight-week comedy series sponsored by 97 Rock. It kicks off this Thursday with Ralphie May and wraps up Nov. 20 with Chris Distefano. Other shows and dates to note: Seneca Niagara Events Center welcomes Roger Hodgson, formerly of Supertramp, on Nov. 7; and Steve Miller Band Nov. 21.
