Monday, Dec. 9

•Locations on the 5100 block of Dana Drive and the 400 block of Cayuga Street, separate alarm responses. Both addresses secured by patrol. One call avoidable.

•4800 block Eddy Drive West, assist Crisis Services with check 911. Male, elderly listed on call.

•500 block of Fairway Drive, suspicious person. Caller reported kids ringing doorbell. Area checked with negative results.

•40 block of Mohawk Street, AED/EMS response. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on location; male, elderly, difficulty breathing.

•Lower River Road-River Walk Drive, car-deer accident. Statement taken from driver; report filed.

•3000 block of Lincoln Place, Town of Niagara, domestic. LPD assisted Town of Niagara Police on call.

Tuesday, Dec. 10

•900 block of Center Street, reckless driver. Patrol reported a reckless driver complaint from Cayuga Street. Female, 25, found to be under influence of prescription medications and alcohol. Driver arrested for driving while intoxicated-drugs. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court and vehicle towed. Report filed.

•Cayuga Street, mental health response. Patrol reported male passenger from above call made suicidal and homicidal threats. Subject taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center via Rural Metro. Report filed.

•700 block of Center Street, suspicious person at a business. Male, 26, listed; handled by patrol.

•Model City Road, reckless driver. Male school bus driver who reported a Jeep, color green, passed him while the bus was stopped. Report filed.

•3700 block of Lower River Road, assist. LPD on location with State Police for a hit-run accident. LPD searched for suspect vehicle with negative results.

•2000 block of Swann Road, larceny. Male complainant reported an iPod stolen from Lewiston-Porter School District; juvenile listed as person involved. Investigation to continue.

•900 block of Elliott Drive, burglary. Female, 25, listed as complainant and two males, ages 63 and 23, listed as persons involved. Upon arrival patrol noted signs of a home invasion/burglary. The residents reported numerous items stolen from the home, including several items of jewelry, money, a laptop and clothing. LPD K-9 unit initiated track from the backyard of the residence where a female suspect, 33, had apparently fled on foot. Track led patrol to the home of the suspect on the 900 block of James Drive. More than $6,000 of stolen property recovered and female was arrested for burglary, second, and grand larceny, third. Patrol reported female suspect was also linked to a larceny from a vehicle on the 1000 block of James Drive from the weekend; further charges are pending. Suspect arraigned in Town of Lewiston Court and remanded to Niagara County Sheriff's Office/Niagara County Jail on $10,000 bail. NCSO assisted on call. Report filed.

Wednesday, Dec. 11

•900 block and 1100 block of James Drive, two follow-up calls. Evidence collected at one address; report filed.

•300 block of South Fifth Street, check welfare. Patrol unable to locate.

•1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stops. LPD and state Department of Transportation conducted checks of commercial vehicles. Level 2 inspections included lights, steering, tires and air brake safety systems. Uniform traffic tickets, unspecified, issued.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara-Wheatfield School District, assist. LPD assisted hotline with a mental health response.

•100 block of Tuscarora Street, check welfare. Female, intoxicated, taken to a hotel on 100 block of Center Street.

Thursday, Dec. 12

•5700 block of Lewiston Road, fire alarm response. Patrol reported alarm set off by a seized elevator motor in the building. Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. on location.

•4600 block of Model City Road, alarm response. Patrol reported an open window; no key holder on location. Building searched; all clear.

•2800 block of Albright Road, criminal mischief complaint. Male, elderly, listed as complainant and male, 31, listed as person involved.

•3400 block of New Road, burglary in progress. LPD assisted NCSO; patrols unable to locate white male.

•4600 Model City Road, car-pedestrian accident/fatality. Male pedestrian, 84, found deceased roadside. Female driver, 82, uninjured. Lewiston No. 1 Fire CO., LPD and NCSO accident investigation units on location. Investigation continuing.

•5700 block of Garlow Road, check welfare. Lewiston No. 2 Volunteer Fire Co. EMS on location for transport of a female, elderly.

•700 block of Oneida Street, check welfare. All OK.

•300 block of South Third Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Female, 57, arrested for driving while intoxicated and breath test refusal. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

Friday, Dec. 13

•Ridge and Creek roads, car-tractor-trailer accident. Statements taken from drivers; car slid into rear of tractor-trailer. Report filed.

•Walmore Road, property-damage accident. Statements taken from drivers; one vehicle towed. Report filed.

•100 block of James Drive, larceny from vehicle. Statement taken from female complainant, 38. Investigation to continue. Report filed.

•700 block of Upper Mountain Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Male, 17, arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving with more than .08 of 1 percent of alcohol, failure to keep right and unlicensed operation. Blood-alcohol content testing performed; BAC result, .11 of 1 percent of alcohol. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle towed with 12-hour hold. Report filed.

•700 block of Upper Mountain Road, Alcohol Beverage Control violations. From the above call, patrol reported the arrests of a male, 17, and a female, 16, for underage consumption of alcohol. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

Saturday, Dec. 14

•5900 block of Hermitage Road, juvenile problem. Handled by patrol.

•200 block of North Eight Street, follow-up arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 26, for unlawfully dealing with a minor. Suspect alleged to have supplied minors with alcohol listed in the above arrests on the 700 block of Upper Mountain Road. Male, 18, also listed on call. Appearance ticket issued to male, 26, for Lewiston Town Court. Investigation to continue. Report filed.

•800 block of Cayuga Street, drive-off complaint. Patrol spoke with manager of a gas mini-mart. Follow-up to continue.

•900 block of Center Street, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from the drivers; one vehicle towed. Report filed.

•Locations on Military Road off the I-190, Robert Moses Parkway (two calls), the 1500 block of Ridge Road, Ridge and Cliff roads, and Indian Hill Road, separate calls of vehicles in ditches/disabled vehicles. All calls weather-related and handled.

•800 block of Center Street, follow-up. Appearance tickets for Lewiston Town Court issued to a male, 26, from earlier underage drinking arrests. Report filed.

•2100 block of Mount Hope Road, check situation. Patrol spoke with a female, 55. All OK.

Sunday, Dec. 15

•800 block of Center Street, unwanted persons at a gas/convenience business. Parties cleared out by patrol.

•800 block of Center Street, recovered property. Credit card found; female party listed. Report filed.

•Locations on Indian Hill Road, Cayuga and South Eighth streets, the 900 block of Center Street, Harper and Tryon drives, separate calls of vehicles in ditches/disabled vehicles. All calls weather related and handled.

•Upper Mountain Road/Robert Moses Parkway access, property-damage accident. Statement taken from one driver; other vehicle left scene. Vehicle towed; investigation to continue.

•Locations on Upper Mountain Road and the I-190 on ramp, and on the 800 block of Cayuga Street, separate reports of two vehicle accidents. Statements taken, one vehicle towed. Report filed.

•LPD office, follow-up. Patrol cited an unidentified driver for leaving the scene of a property-damage accident. Uniform traffic ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court.
