Change is coming in the Town of Lewiston.

Two-term Supervisor Steve Reiter was defeated by fellow Republican Ernie Palmer, a member of the Town Council, by a 434-347 margin.

Democrat Mike Johnson, meanwhile, a longtime Town of Lewiston councilman and current finance director, lost to current Village of Lewiston Trustee Dennis Brochey by a 527-250 mark.

As of this writing, the Niagara County Board of Elections has classified these vote tallies as unofficial.
