In September 2010, Mary Forsterwas diagnosed with stage 4 follicular lymphoma. Since then, Forster has been receiving various tests and treatments. Because she has no medical insurance, her family and friends are holding a benefit to help alleviate the increasing costs.

Forster is a mother of three children, two of whom are going into their senior year of high school. She currently works part time at Mike's Deli in the Town of Niagara. She attended LaSalle Senior High and Trott Vocational High and has been a resident of Town of Niagara and Niagara Falls throughout her life.

The benefit will be held from 2 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, at Niagara Active Hose, 6010 Lockport Road, Town of Niagara.

The entry ticket will include food, pop, entertainment, door prizes, a basket auction and a 50/50 split.

For more information, contact Amanda Forster, her oldest daughter, at 716-998-8088, or [email protected].
