Next week, First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St., will celebrate another great year of Vacation Bible School. This year's theme is "Son-Surf - A Beach Bash VBS." Included in the activities will be crafts, music, games, and a Bible story for the day.

Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. with a full menu, including a salad bar. Friday evening, organizers host a cookout, a musical presentation by the children, outdoor water games, and a bounce house.

Children ages 4 to grade 5 are invited to attend, and children in grades 6 and up are encouraged to be helpers. A small charge of $10 per child or $25 for three-plus people in a family applies.

Our new addition to VBS this year is the viewing of the movie "Courageous," with discussions to follow. This movie is about four police officers and tells how their professions relate to their individual families. They each find what is important in life.

There is no charge for the viewing of this movie.

To reserve your spot, or for more information, call the church at 716-754-4945.
