With the school year winding down, it's time to start securing your child's plans for summer. Join the YMCA on Saturday, June 2, for its "Passport to Summer" event and get a sneak peak of all that the YMCA has to offer this summer at camp.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Town of Wheatfield Youth Center, 2800 Church Road.

At the free "Passport to Summer" event, guests can register their children for camp for only a $10 deposit per week/per camper, and meet one-on-one with staff to address any questions. Meanwhile, children will have a blast engaging in camp-related activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, a bounce house and more. Every child who attends will be entered into a drawing to win a free week of camp.

The camp, which runs June 25 through Aug. 31, will have youth sports, swimming, arts and crafts and a host of other activities. The cost is $125 for residents of Wheatfield and $150 for non-residents for a five-day camp week. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. For more information, contact the Niagara Falls Family YMCA at 716-285-8491 or visit www.ymcabuffaloniagara.org.

The Niagara Falls Family YMCA is pleased to offer an inclusive summer day camp at its Town of Wheatfield Youth Center location - the only one of its kind in the area. Moreover, the YMCA is partnering with Heritage Christian Services, an agency that serves more than 1,600 children and adults with developmental disabilities, to provide an inclusive camp experience for all children.
