Buffalo Bills hall of famer to sign autographs

Joe DeLamielleure, the legendary "Joe D" of the Buffalo Bills, is scheduled to be in Lockport on Thursday, May 24, courtesy of the Niagara County Deputy Sheriffs Association. DeLamielleure will sign autographs at the NCDSA Union Office in the Bewley Building from 6 to 8 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Niagara Hospice.

Tickets, available for purchase for $10, are required for entrance and are redeemable for one autograph each. VIP tickets, also for sale, include drinks, five autographs, a limited edition Joe D. photograph, and 30 minutes with Joe D. at a private reception prior to the public autograph signing. Additional Joe D. paraphernalia will also be available for general sale.

DeLamielleure was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003. He is best known as the lead blocker for Hall of Fame running back O.J. Simpson. DeLamielleure played with the Bills for the majority of his 1973-1985 football career, which began and ended in Buffalo.
