The Lewiston Choraleers will kick off its sixth annual spring concert series on Saturday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at Porter on the Lake, Dietz Road in Youngstown, as part of the Town of Porter Founder's Day Weekend events.

Three additional performances will be presented Sunday, June 3, at 2 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 915 Oneida St., Lewiston; Saturday, June 9, at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church (Old Stone Church), 505 Cayuga St., Lewiston; and Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 400 Ridge St., Lewiston.

The fun-filled family-friendly program will feature familiar music from Broadway shows and Disney productions, as well as standards and contemporary music made popular by performers such as Whitney Houston, Bob Seger and Debbie Boone. The 55-member community chorus will be directed by Donald D. Shrimpton and accompanied by pianist Lynda Williams and percussionist Pat Kuciewski.

All concerts are open to the public, with a general admission fee of $5 for the concerts on June 3, 9 and 10 (children under 12 are free).

The Lewiston Choraleer group has been presenting seasonal concerts at Christmas and Easter and in the spring and summer in the Niagara Falls-Lewiston area since forming in 2007, including a well-received performance at Disney World in 2011.
