Allegiant announced Friday it will end its scheduled service between Niagara Falls International Airport (IAG) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The carrier's last day of service will be Sept. 2. Customers with reservations beyond that date will be contacted directly by Allegiant for a full refund.
"We are always disappointed to stop servicing a route," said Eric Fletcher, Allegiant Travel Co. manager of airports. "We apologize to any travelers who are inconvenienced by this decision and hope that Niagara travelers will still keep us top of mind for service to Fort Myers, Orlando and Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida."
