Lockport Community Television welcomes members of the community who would like to find out more about producing a local show, becoming a camera operator or learning how to direct a TV program. LCTV is a non-profit public access television station, which has offered volunteer opportunities to the public since 1983.

An LCTV orientation session will be offered on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. in the LCTV studios at 293 Niagara St., Lockport.

The orientation session is free of charge and will last approximately one hour. Those attending can tour the facility, learn more about upcoming equipment training classes, and ask questions. Attendance at an orientation is required in order to register for LCTV's production classes.

Upcoming classes in September/October include: portable camera, editing, computer graphics, and studio camera/directing.

For more information, or to register for the free orientation, call LCTV at 716-434-1733.  Information is also available online at www.lctv.net.
