Lewiston Police Blotter for June 11, 2011

The following activity occurred Monday, May 30, to Sunday, June 5, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. A total of 103 calls were answered by LPD during this period.

Monday, May 30

•North Ninth Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a male for driving while intoxicated, driving with more than .08 of 1 percent of alcohol, and related DWI charges. Uniform traffic tickets issued with return Town of Lewiston Court date. Vehicle towed; report filed.

•5900 block of Walmore Road, EMS response. A female injured by a horse was taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center for treatment. Patrol cleared.

•Upper Mountain and Bronson roads, check-the-welfare. A male, highly intoxicated, was taken by patrol to Mount St. Mary's. Patrol cleared.

•North Fifth Street and Morgan Drive, disturbing the peace/loud music complaint. Patrol checked with negative results.

•100 block of South Water Street, property damage accident/hit-run. Statement taken by driver of vehicle No. 2; vehicle No. 1 left scene. Report filed.

•1100 block of Escarpment Drive, suspicious vehicle. Patrol reported negative results on its search for a dark-colored vehicle with a loud muffler.

•4200 block of Lower River Road, one vehicle injury accident/DWI. Patrol reported the arrest of a 27-year-old female. Uniform traffic tickets issued with return date for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•200 block of First Street, shooter complaint. Negative results reported.

Tuesday, May 31

•Mount St. Mary's, unwanted party. Patrol reported both parties as intoxicated and arranged for a taxi ride home. Patrol towed car with a 12-hour hold placed on it.

•LPD office, harassment complaint. Patrol spoke with a 53-year-old female regarding a 52-year-old male and advised it was a civil matter.

•LPD office, harassment complaint. Patrol spoke with a 46-year-old female who had a complaint regarding a company. Handled by patrol.

•Saunders Settlement and Chew roads, attempt to locate reckless driver. Vehicle located in Town of Niagara by Town of Niagara Police Department.

•6000 block of Baer Road, warrant execution. Patrol reported the arrest of a 22-year-old male; charges not specified. Suspect arraigned at Porter Town Court. Bail assigned at $400 and suspect remanded to NCSO/Niagara County Jail.

•800 block of Orchard Drive, larceny complaint. Statement taken from a 56-year-old male regarding money taken from a vehicle. Report filed.

•100 block of South Water Street, harassment complaint at a bar/restaurant. Patrol spoke with a 23-year-old female regarding a 38-year-old male. Report only at this time.

•4600 block of Model City Road, larceny/burglary complaint. Statement taken from a 42-year-old male regarding a 29-year-old female. Report filed.

Wednesday, June 1

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, fire alarm. Lewiston No. Volunteer Fire Co. on location; nothing showing.

•LPD office, harassment complaint. Patrol spoke with a 32-year-old male regarding a male. Handled by patrol.

•LPD office, harassment/stalking complaint. Statement taken from a 41-year-old female regarding a male suspect. Investigation to continue.

•200 block of Portage Road, hit-run accident. Statement taken from male from vehicle No. 2 which was parked; vehicle no. 1 fled the scene.

Thursday, June 2

•Indian Hill Road, check area. Patrol advised of an intoxicated male staggering in the roadway. Patrol checked with negative results.

•Unspecified locations, reckless driver complaint. Patrol advised of a green vehicle traveling through the Sanborn area at a high rate of speed and cutting other drivers off. Patrol checked with negative results.

•Separate alarm responses. Locations on the 4600 block of Perry Court; a bank branch on the 700 block of Center Street; a bar restaurant on the 400 block of Center Street, and on the 5900 block of Heritage Road.  All locations secure.

•Balmer Road, attempt to locate. Patrol advised of a gold Oldsmobile Cutlass heading westbound with a male listed as an intoxicated driver. Negative results.

•900 block of James Drive, check situation. Patrol spoke with the unidentified homeowner. Subject's son, a 46-year-old male showed up at the residence intoxicated. Patrol removed the male without incident to a residence on the 800 block of Foxwood Drive.

Friday, June 3

•2200 block of Upper Mountain Road, check situation. Patrol reported a panic alarm was accidentally set off.

•Creek Road, traffic control. Patrol conducted a checkpoint with NCSO and State Police for purposes of enforcing seatbelt and commercial vehicle violations. During the checkpoint a total of 30 violations were written. The violations consisted of one seatbelt, 12 commercial vehicle infractions, and 17 other vehicle and traffic laws.

•500 block of Tuscarora Street, property dispute. Male party left without incident.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, EMS response. Lewiston No. 1 took a 46-year-old male to Mount St. Mary's.

•Garlow Road, attempt to locate. Patrol advised of a possible intoxicated driver in a white Ford Escort. Gone on patrol's arrival.

•Lake Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSO for a welfare check of a male intoxicated in the roadway. All OK.

Saturday, June 4

•Center and Sixth streets, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a 20-year-old female for third degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Uniform traffic ticket issued with return Lewiston Town Court date. Report filed.

•2100 block of Adams Circle, domestic incident. Patrol listed a 41-year-old female as a victim and a 41-year-old male as a suspect. Male charged with second-degree harassment. Arraignment held at Lewiston Town Court and bail of $250/$500 assigned. Order of protection issued. Report filed.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 38-year-old female. Patrol advised other party not to make any contact.

•North Fifth and Center streets, suspicious vehicle. Caller reported the occupant was tossing items out of the window. Gone on patrol's arrival.

•500 block of Mountain View Drive, suspicious person. A 29-year-old male found on location was charged. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court; report filed.

•600 block of Sara Court, criminal mischief complaint. Caller's car was egged. No suspects found and no car in the area.

Sunday, June 5

•Center Street, attempt to locate intoxicated driver. Gone on patrol's arrival.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, domestic incident. Patrol listed a 31-year-old male as a victim and a 24-year-old female as a suspect. Female party charged, arraigned at Lewiston Town Court and released on her own recognizance. Female also issued a stay-away order. Domestic incident report and patrol's report both filed.

•5300 block of Annover Drive, harassment complaint. Patrol reported a misunderstanding by the complainant. Patrol cleared.

•Upper Mountain Road and Marywood Drive, attempt to locate reckless driver. Patrol checked with negative results.

•4200 block of Lower River Road, disturbing the peace. Patrol advised complainant to call back when the incident happens again.

•600 block of Ridge Road, EMS response. Patrol reports a 53-year-old male fell off his bike while attempting to stop. Lewiston No. 1 responded and subject taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC in Buffalo. Report filed.

•5200 block of Green Road, reckless driver complaint. Statement taken from a 28-year-old female regarding a male listed as a suspect. Deposition taken.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, criminal mischief complaint. Patrol listed a 67-year-old male and a 59-year-old female as persons involved. Male did not want to press charges.

•North Ninth and Onondaga streets, property-damage accident. State Police to do the report.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, criminal mischief. Patrol reported the complaint was upgraded from an earlier Reckless Driver complaint on Green Road.

•1700 block of Mount Hope Road, unwanted persons. Statement taken from a male regarding male suspects. State Police handling the call.

•4600 block of Creek Road, assault. Patrol reported the incident occurred on Tuscarora Street in the Town of Niagara. Unidentified suspect interviewed at Creek Road address. Report filed.
